Tuam Primary Care Centre

New Primary Care Centre in Tuam officially opened by Minister Harris in July 2018
This new 2,500sqm Primary Healthcare facility has been constructed on a green field site adjacent the former Grove Hospital at Sean Purcell Road, Tuam, Co. Galway. It forms part of a HSE campus which comprises a Primary Care Centre, Grove Medical Centre and an Ambulance Base, and which will contain a future Residential Care Centre being designed by COADY Architects.
Full service began at the facility last December but was officially opened by Minister Harris in July this year.
The centre features a range of modern clinical facilities designed to meet HIQA standards, and will offer services including dental and ophthalmology.
This primary care centre was delivered as part of a 14-project PPP programme for the NDFA and HSE. COADY Architects provided Lead Consultancy and Full Architectural Design Service for the project.
