Cluid Housing Association’s new sheltered housing scheme at Broom Lodge opened in November 2017

BROOME LODGE is a 3 storey apartment building consisting of 43 dwellings and 1 guest unit as well as communal facilities and an office.

Coady were appointed by Clúid Housing Association to develop the project from the approved Planning Permission documentation, ensuring compliance with the conditions, secure the Fire Safety and Disability Access Certificates, produce the tender documentation, assist in the prequalification and appointment of the main contractor and lead the design team during the construction period.

Coady were conscious through the design and construction process that the building will be the long term homes for Clúid tenants. All materials and finishes were chosen both for their robustness and durability but also to create a warm and comfortable environment.
