COADY Architects are happy to announce that planning permission has been lodged with An Bord Pleanála for a major new student accommodation development at Dublin City University, Glasnevin Campus.

The proposed development has been designed by the partnership of COADY Architects and Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios. The design proposes an urban arrangement of blocks on campus with the residential buildings forming a series of individual landscaped courtyards and defined external spaces to create ownership, foster wellbeing and encourage active use.

The proposed scheme will include 214 apartments with 1,240 bed spaces, ancillary and leisure facilities, arranged in 7 no. blocks ranging from 4 to 10 storeys.

The development forms part of the aspirations of Dublin City University in expanding and upgrading its campus at Glasnevin to meet the rapidly change needs of its student population.
