Planning permission secured for a new 50 Bed Residential Care Centre in Tuam

COADY Architects have been successful is securing planning permission for a new 50 Bed Residential Care Centre at Sean Purcell Road, Tuam, Co. Galway. The new building, on a green filed site, is replacing existing facilities elsewhere in Tuam. It will increase quality of life for the elderly residents. It contains a Day Care Centre which will form the basis of community activities focused on the local elderly population. The new facility will allow more elderly people from Tuam and its hinterland to remain in their community. It forms part of a Healthcare campus containing an existing Ambulance Base and Primary Care Centre (completed in 2017 by COADY) and a planned refurbishment of the old Grove Hospital.
