Capacity Study for Trinity College Dublin
This study provides a framework for the expansion of Trinity College’s city centre campus by 55,000m² of new accommodation. The primary exercise was to carry out an assessment of the existing campus to identify potential sites for development within the grounds. In line with the 1994 master-plan the campus has been intensively developed over recent years while preserving the substantial stock of historic buildings. A number of pockets of developable land within the campus, together with existing buildings with the potential for expansion either laterally or through additional floor levels, have been identified and a set of proposals put together for incorporation into the masterplan review document.
