Treasury Dock, North Wall Quay, Dublin
The NTMA appointed COADY Architects and Perkins & Will for the fit-out of their new 13,363sqm HQ at Treasury Dock, North Wall Quay. The client selected Block 1 of the “Dublin Landings” development as the location for their new premises, which is located beside the new Central bank of Ireland. It is an impressive landmark building designed to International LEED Platinum Specification.
The building comprises nine floors over basement providing Grade A office accommodation. Floor plates are flexible and efficient allowing for innovative and creative fit-out solutions. The accommodation consists of open plan office space, cellular offices, meeting rooms, training areas, reception area, canteen/town hall area, full catering kitchen, storage areas, services areas, toilets and ancillary office accommodation areas.
The spaces meet the specialist requirements of the NTMA business units whilst allowing for future flexibility. COADY co-ordinated the integration of the client access, security and AV requirements.
Over a 14 month period, prior to the fit-out works, COADY led a multi-disciplinary design team providing comprehensive and rigorous Due Diligence services of the base build construction. COADY shared responsibility for tender and construction documentation and provided Design Team Lead and Employer’s Representative role during the construction stage.
